Marianne Steele, age 89, passed away on June 16, 2024. Marianne was born on July 6, 1934 in Columbus, OH to Harry and Germaine (Gillard) Kasson. She was a high school graduate, who worked in Data Processing for Grange Mutual Insurance prior to retiring. She was married to the love of her life, John Steele, whom she married on November 6, 1954, now deceased.
Marianne was one who loved to crochet and cross-stitch, making several works of art. She truly loved to travel, making it to countries overseas like Belgium, France, Italy, and Ireland with a small group of travel-friends. While married, she and John traveled out west visiting all the tourist areas of lore, like Yosemite. She was one who loved birthday parties, celebrating her childrens'', grandchildrens'', and great grandchildrens''. But she truly enjoyed when others remembered her birthday and celebrated with her.
