Randy B. Johnston, age 59, of Gahanna, Ohio, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on June 4, 2024. He was born on August 3, 1964 and was a 1982 graduate of Lancaster High School. He graduated from Ohio University in 1986 with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting. He was a business systems analyst for Optum Workers’ Comp and Auto No-Fault finance team for 22 years. Randy was a car enthusiast, an avid reader and regularly walked at Blendon Woods as part of his healthy lifestyle. He enjoyed watching OSU men’s volleyball, participated in bowling leagues and a sand volleyball league. Randy was quiet, thoughtful, kind, generous and always ready to help others.He is survived by his parents Wayne Johnston and Diane (Jim) Grover, step-siblings Shelley Phillips and Jamie Grover and their families, uncle Jack (Cindy) Miller, aunt Beckie Johnston and many cousins.
