James B. Walter, a great electrician and longstanding employee of the Columbus Dispatch, passed away on June 20, 202. Born on March 7, 1938, James led a life filled with cherished memories and remarkable accomplishments. His career as an electrician was marked by dedication and a keen problem-solving ability. James took immense pride in his work at Columbus Dispatch, where he made many lasting friendships. His commitment to his craft was evident to all who knew him. Aside from his professional achievements, James will be remembered for his passion for preserving history and bridges as a founding member of the Fairfield County Covered Bridge Society. He shared this love with his family, who fondly remember working alongside him and learning from his wealth of knowledge.
