Harlan Steven Cole Obituary
Steve was born in Hazard, Kentucky and raised in West Carrollton, Ohio. After graduating from West Carrollton High School in 1975, he received a scholarship to attend Georgetown College in Kentucky to play football. He later returned to Ohio and soon after moved to Kansas City, Missouri with little money in his pocket and no job. He worked hard every day to create the life that he dreamed of and could be proud of retiring at the age of 65. He was passionate about his 47-year career in physical fitness. Every aspect of physical fitness and healthy living was ingrained in his personal and work life. He was adventurous and loved the outdoors, flowers, and planting fruits and vegetables. Recently he has been fully engulfed in the process of creating a homestead and living off the land. He spent his last few years traveling some and spending time with family. He enjoyed hiking mountains in Colorado & Arizona skiing and white water rafting with coworkers.
