Roy Andrew Miller, 72, of Lancaster, died unexpectedly Monday, August 12, 2024. He was born January 28, 1952 in Marietta, Ohio the son of the late Lester Roy and Virginia A. (Pabst) Miller.
Roy was a 1970 graduate of Lancaster High School, a veteran of the US Army and a 1976 graduate of Miami University where he received his degree in Botany. He had worked at Carborundum Grinding Wheel Company where he had served as Quality Manager, Development Engineer and Process Engineer. He was a Scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Last Louisiana Lancers.
Roy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gerda E. (Dickey) Miller, whom he married April 19, 1980; son, Andrew Miller; brothers, Chuck and Dwight (Debbie) Miller; and sister, Dorene (Jim) Guseman.
The family will have a private gathering to celebrate Roy's life.
