Richard Lawrence Rheaume 94 of Amanda, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on March 4, 1930. He was the son of the late Edward J. Rheaume, Sr. and Anna Marie (Compion) Rheaume. Richard attended Pittsfield Schools and then went into the service. He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the 508th transportation company in Berlin, Germany from 1951-1953.He was retired from Coca-Cola where he was a machine repairman. Richard attended Fairfield Christian Church in his later years where he met many lovely people. He was a master carpenter and mechanic. He enjoyed drawing and painting and also loved helping his neighbors. The love of his life was Joan Marie (Leavy) Rheaume who passed away on July 14, 2003 after 49 years of wonderful marriage. He also was preceded death by their son, Mitchell Joseph Rheaume who passed away on January 20, 2012. Richard lovingly cared for Mitchell during his 11 year battle with Hodgekins Dise
