Dung Thi Richardson, of Carroll, Ohio, simply known to family and friends as "Kim", died peacefully, at the age of 89, with her family by her side on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born September 2,1935, in Long Zuyen, Vietnam to the late Ly Van Ngoc and Nguyen Thi Tam.
Kim worked at the Mark Pi's Chinese restaurant chain and later as a Sous Chef at the former Hilton East Hotel off Hamilton Road in Whitehall, Ohio, where she later retired from. While at the Hilton East Hotel, she excelled at designing and preparing ornate banquet dinners for large gatherings and events.
In her free time, Kim enjoyed gardening, cooking with fresh ingredients from her garden, and socializing with friends over lunch or dinner. Kim was deeply devoted to her family, made a lasting impression on those she met, and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harry Richardson; and son, Mark Richardson.
