Dorothy Wenger, age 82, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on March 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Dorothy's life was defined by her remarkable ability to connect deeply with others, offering grace and empathy in every relationship, whether with loved ones, acquaintances, or even strangers. Her warm, nurturing spirit made her a natural caretaker, always seeking out those in need of kindness and compassion. Countless lives were brightened by Dorothy's gentle, generous presence, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who knew her. Born in 1942 in Smith County, Mississippi, Dorothy was the daughter of George and Helen (Lowery) Quick. She attended school in Collins, MS, graduating high school in 1961, and later earned her degree from Mississippi State College for Women in 1965.
