Matthew Brandon Rogers, aged 43, passed away March 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 8, 1981, in Columbus, Ohio to John F. and Cheryl A. Rogers.
Matt graduated from Groveport-Madison High School in 1999 where he was a member of the GMHS Marching Band. He graduated from the Ohio State University in 2004.
Matt was employed by Merchants' Security and Patrol Services in Cincinnati as a patrol officer. He worked part-time at Papa John's Pizza as a delivery driver. Matt loved his Lord, his family, his pets, the Ohio state buckeyes, and music. He loved writing music, singing and performing it and playing guitar (bass + acoustic) and saxophone (alto + soprano).
Matt is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Theresa Hughes, William P. Rogers, and Julia Baily; uncles, Dave Dickensheets, Clarence Hughes and William L. Rogers; aunts, Annette DiCocco and Patricia Howard.
He is survived by his loving parents; brother, John (Donna) Rogers; aunts, Kathleen "Kak"
