Jo Ellen Barkoukis, age 68, of Pataskala, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Born on February 21, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, to Gregory and Louise (Clough) Barkoukis.
Jo was a dedicated minister and performer who shared God's love through entertainment. She was a talented face painter, balloon artist, and magician, and she had the privilege of performing both locally and abroad.
Jo's commitment to her family was evident in everything she did, always striving to ensure their happiness and well-being. A strong woman of faith, Jo grew her spiritual life daily through Bible reading and devotionals. She was known as a prayer warrior, with a deep belief that she shared through both words and actions.
Jo's kindness, generosity, and sense of humor were felt by all who knew her. She had an incredible ability to bring joy and laughter, especially to children, and was always ready to give of herself to others. Her warm spirit will be deeply missed.
