With great sadness and yet with celebration for her life well lived, we announce the passing of Miriam Seymour Davis, beloved mother, educator, mentor, and friend, who departed for her eternal life in Christ on March 21, 2025, at the age of 85. A dedicated teacher for 35 years, Miriam influenced the lives of hundreds of students and colleagues throughout her career. She leaves the legacy of training the next generation to seek the Kingdom of God first and to live a life of love and service in their own communities.
Born on May 3, 1939, in Circleville, Ohio, she was raised in a home filled with love and strong biblical teaching as a pastor's daughter. Miriam always had a passion for learning and teaching. Attending Circleville Bible College (now Ohio Christian University), earning a degree in Biblical Studies and continuing her education at Malone University in Canton, Ohio, she completed her degree in Elementary Education.
