Carolyn Jo Brigner, 84, of Circleville, died on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio. She was born August 16, 1940 in Circleville, OH, to Harry D and Pauline (Lutz) Metcalf.
Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Circleville and married Stanley Brigner on October 25, 1956, to whom she was married 67 years. She worked as a cook at Logan Elm Health Care Center for 15 years – her most rewarding job was raising her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, especially hosting family dinners and gatherings. She had sacrificial love in caring for others, especially her brother, Gary. Carolyn was a mentor to her daughters, a nourisher and great listener to all.
Carolyn's surviving family tree includes her children, Tammy, Lise, Dwight (Michelle), Kim (Jack), Sharon (Denny), Stanley Jr. (Tiffany); she was affectionately called "Nanny" by her; 17 grandchildren,; 37 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great granddaughter, Penelope and one on the way
